HOW DOES IT WORK?
Lift:
With all the lashes neatly bonded, a lifting balm is then applied which allows the structure and shape of your lashes to change and be lifted at the root
Volumise:
Once this has been removed, a volumising fix is applied which seals your lashes into their new shape
Boost:
A lash tint is then applied which darkens the lashes and adds volume and length
Moisturise:
Finally, a moisturising serum is applied to nourish the lashes and ease them off the shield, revealing beautifully healthy, lifted lashes

-
What is an LVL lash treatment? An 'LVL' lash lift is a treatment created by Nouveau Lashes . LVL stands for LENGTH VOLUME and LIFT using only Nouveau products and your own natural lash so is great low maintenance alternative to lash extensions that lasts up to 8 weeks
-

-
Can I combine this with other treatments?Dermaplane, Microdermabrasion or an enzyme peel may be performed immediately before MicroChanneling as long as the face is disinfected before MicroChanneling. Immediately following MicroChanneling. LED light therapyand oxygen may be applied.
-
What’s in the Stem Cell Serum?Hyaluronic acid and a combination of purified proteins designed to amplify rejuvenation. There are no human or animal cells, DNA, blood or other foreign substances. The product has been used safely and effectively for over a decade.
-
Are there any contraindications?any condition that seriously impairs your immune system, active radiation or chemotherapy, pregnant or nursing, u controlled diabetes, allergy to stainless steel, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past 2 years, hemophilia or similar bleeding disorder
-
How will my face look immediately following a treatment?Anything from minor redness, to a deep red flush, which clears up in 4 to 72 hours, depending on how aggressive the treatment is.
-
How long before I can expect to see results? You will typically notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments a thicker more robust, collagen filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity and wrinkles. For hair regrowth some reactivation typically appears within the first two weeks, with noticeable improvement after about 5 weeks.
-
Does it hurt? There is no pain only some discomfort during the treatment. There is no lingering discomfort, and we have a number of strategies we employ to minimize discomfort during treatment.
-
Do I have to use the MicroChanneling solution / aftercare serums?MicroChanneling stimulates the body to release peptides, cytokines and growth factors that induce collagen production. As you get older, the stem cells that produce these vital proteins lose efficacy and decline in population, so microchanneling alone becomes less and less effective. Because of premature aging the MicroChannel Delivery Serum, and the post care Cellular Renewal Serum and Healing Accelerator become more necessary to produce improvement. Use of the Livra products ensure the skin continuously receives potent, robust, pristine peptides, cytokines and growth factors even in between treatments. Think of diet and exercise – MicroChanneling without serums is like exercising without dieting. Results will be good with MicroChanneling only, great with serums.
-
How long is the down time? You can apply make-up, sunblock and other topical products after about 90 minutes.
-
Can it cause scarring? No. It can improve the appearance of scars
-
What will this improve the appearance of?Fine lines and wrinkles, hyper pigmentation, acne scarring, stretch marks, hair loss, and rosacea are all conditions that MicroChanneling can improve.
-
Is it safe?Yes - Permanent/Semi permanent makeup is very safe the right hands. Your welfare and the welfare of you skin is my first priority, and if I feel there is any contraindication present I will not take on the work or until feel it is safe to proceed . I am trained to work to the right depth, and I implement all health and safety, and blood borne pathogen protocols.
-
"Can you do it like this photograph?"Everybody starting point is different. The best brow for you is the one one that looks best on YOU. This is determined by your individual facial anatomy (bone structure), your skin type (dry / oily), your skin colouring (red tones, cool tones etc), skin age (as we age our skin is dryer and thinner) and then also your lifestyle (sun exposure). Brow PMU is just like hair and makeup and should be tailored to you. It’s rare two people will ever look the same even with the same brow style.
-
I’m pregnant / breast feeding - Can I have my brows done? The short answer is no. Being pregnant or breast feeding is a contraindication to having any PMU work. Although the risk of infection is very small, any infection could be passed on the baby.
-
What is microblading?Microblading is the most natural of PMU brow looks. It is a process of carefully and skillfully depositing pigment between the dermis and epidermis of the skin using a manual hand tool, to create hairstokes and mimic the appearance of a natural realistic looking eyebrow.
-
What is the brow after care and what is the downtime?Aftercare and what to expect after your treatment Immediately after the treatment the eyebrows will appear dark. Do not be alarmed as this is normal due to pigment remaining on the surface of your skin and the pigment will appear darker our to the oxidisation process. After around 7 days the colour will start to fade as the healing process begins. They may begin to flake which is perfectly normal. . It is essential that you do not pick, peel or scratch your eyebrows during the healing process as this will affect the final result. Once this phase passes, your true colour will start to reveal itself. After 30 days your brows are fully healed and you will return for your top up to replace the strokes that have disappeared and to make any adjustments where the brows may have returned patchy. At the end of your treatment you will be provided with an aftercare kit and detailed aftercare instructions . Please do not use any other product as after-care. The balm provided is formulated for skin care after the treatment. It keeps the skin moisturised and helps with recovery but must be used very sparingly as advised. For best results, please adhere to the following; During the first 8 days, you will clean as advised and your eyebrows MUST NOT be immersed, soaked in or saturated with water. (If you can then dry shampoo, go to the hairdressers or ask someone else to wash your hair.) Avoid all creams (except balm) foundation in the eyebrow area and eyeshadow , glitters etc in the eye area the specified after-care period. Avoid exercises that cause excessive sweating, and hot baths, showers and saunas. There will be some fading before the touchup session but Makeup can be worn over the brow from the 10th day onwards. For 14 days, avoid swimming and botox For 30 days, avoid sunbathing, sunbeds, light (laser) therapy, chemical peels, fruit acids, microdermabrasion and creams that contain regeneration factors Accutane and Vitamin A or any derivative of it can effect retention.
-
How long does it last?It can last approximately between 1-3 years depending on various factors - skin type, sun exposure, exercise, hormones and medications. It can be made to last longer if maintained with colour boost/ refresh sessions.
-
I have medical conditions - can I still have Microblading? You must always check the contraindication listed prior to booking. On consultation disclose any conditions, illness and medication however minor you think it may be. Some conditions are clear contraindications to permanent makeup and and some fall in grey areas so are worth mentioning.
-
What are Ombre/powder brows?Ombre and powder brows are created using a machine to shade the whole area, and can be as light or as dark as desired. There are no hair strokes, and this can be used to create the look of makeup-defined brows or for giving depth and definition by darkening the skin behind an eyebrow. Ombre is the term for dark to light - an Ombre brow is darkest at the tail and lower edge. This is suited for all skin types, dry to oily.
-
Does it hurt? For most people, no it does not hurt. The brow area is gently numbed before the “first pass” so at most there may be a light sensation of scratching. Then you will be completely numb prior to the 2nd pass so you shouldn’t feel a thing. (Try to avoid booking treatment before or during your period as it can more uncomfortable during this time. ) I have have had people fall asleep whilst I’ve worked. And if you are snoring then even better- it means you’re relaxed. 👍🏽
-
When is the best time to book in brow colour boost/colour refresh?A cooler boost recommend getting a brow colour boost every 12 to 18 months to maintain the look of your brows. the fading varies from person to person. For example oily skin, may require a colour refresh earlier than someone with dry skin. If you are unsure of the timing, feel free to send photos for an assessment on if your brows are ready for a colour boost
-
How long does Microblading take?I want you to feel looked after and have a good client experience– and not to feel like you are on a conveyer belt of clients. So I book out a 3.5 hour slot for the 1st full brow session. It may not take as long, but the time is then available if is required to adjust the mapping or and gives the option to take it slow with certain skin types.
