Contraindications

• Under 18 years of age 

• Keloid / hypertrophic scarring

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding

• Bleeding disorders & medical blood thinners

• Psoriasis shingles, keratosis or eczema on the treatment area. 

• Birthmarks or Port wine stain (Nevus Flammeus)  in the treatment area

• Mole or undiagnosed lumps in the treatment area

• Ink allergies

• Haemophilia 

• Heart conditions or pacemaker

Temporary ( requires time - to heal/clear the skin/no longer the status )

 

SunBurn - until healed. 

Suntan - 2 weeks. 

Skin peels, laser microdermabrasion or micro-needling - 4 weeks before the procedure until the healing is completed.

Coldsores - must be fully healed , and anti coldsore medication  advised prior to any lip treatment.  

Botox & fillers  (advisable to have brows before first time botox not after).

Some allergic reactions.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding.

Active Skincare (Retinols/retinoids , aha’s)  - 3 weeks to 3 months   (If you are taking Roaccutane, strong Retinoids or Acne medication, we can only do the treatment 6 months after termination of such treatments).

Eye surgery - depends on surgery and heal time.
 

Anaesthetics - 6 weeks wait.
